Searching the Bloglines was an easy way to find feeds that were of interest. I found some interesting blogs from people at the Commission. Looking at other peoples blogs and who was subscribed to them found someother interesting blogs.

Using the RSS and newsreader is very cool and will be a nice tool to have as I like to check about 4 newspapers during the day.
I will be nice to look at the new feeds in one place.
Well moving right along.

I have used IM for a few years to talk with my son daily at college.
The advantages are being able to talk now and not have to wait for a response, unless they are talking with others at the same time.
The disadvantages are they may not be on at the same time as you or available to talk.
I could see this being used to track down a book that a patron is wanting to read.
I would encourage patrons to use IM to ask reference questions.

The easiest habit will be to use technology as I love using the computer work through challenges. The hardest habit will be accepting respolnsibility for my own learning as I love to play too much.
